Every single time, I tell myself I will post these on time and every time, I end up posting a mass post…
159/365: Had a nice evening at a surprise birthday supper my sister’s boyfriend organized for her. It was nice to be a part of it and to get to know some of her friends. I discovered I liked appletinis :)
160/365: Among other things, I did a movie marathon with this friend of mine and another one of our friends. Well marathon is a big word…it was meant to be a marathon but we watched two movies..oups! haha
161/365: Fell asleep watching V for Vendetta while commentingon msn haha
162/365: Montreal was flooded but I didn’t realize it until I saw all the pictures of FB. haha I would’ve posted a photo of that if I had seen it myself. Instead, here is the dress I will wear to my cousin’s wedding that my mom bought for me before we went to the movies :)
163/365: “Oh crap, it’s 1am and I haven’t taken a picture yet”. Tried to do an artistic shot of this can of Arizona tea hahah
164/365: Went to lunch with Jack and Joel from my lab. Discovered this neat little place right next to campus with amazing Portuguese-style chicken. Omnomnom~
165/365: My parents took out our little table stove for supper :)
166/365: Maaaaajor lazy saturday spent watching 6 James McAvoy movies<3
167/365: Last episode of Game of Thrones before a looooooooong while :((
168/365: Another day where I didn’t take a photo until bedtime. I stayed home to work and right before going to bed, I was looking for something picture worthy. I turned and on my bedside table, there was my This Century bracelet next to my computer. I felt like it described my day well…trying to code something and trying not to give up.
152/365 : Had a mega picnic for a friend’s birthday :)
153/365 : It was a beautiful day so I spent the afternoon reading in Old Montreal.
154/365 : Originally, I had wanted to post a photo of my end of the year student council sushi dinner…but I had forgotten to take a picture of it. SO instead, here is what I spend the rest of the day doing. Diablo + schoolwork on my balcony!
155/365 : My friend realized he forgot his keys at work and made me go back with him in exchange for the birthday sushi supper he had promised for my birthday (two months ago!) we were fine until there were 7 pieces left and we wanted to explode. He tried going into destruction mode but they were too big hahah
156/365 : My plan was to post a picture of my Korean BBQ dinner with friends and that most likely would’ve been the case had I posted it the same day. BUT instead, right before going to bed (or well planning to go to bed) I looked at the UdeM site and…saw this.
157/365 : FOB snacks yuuuuum~
158/365 : My friend made me buy this because he doesn’t have an iPod…it’s really addicting ._.
142/365 : Officially started my internship at IRIC (Institute for Research in Immunology and Cancer). Cancer research, I’m ready for ya!
143/365 : The Maine. Amazing band. Such a fun night singing, screaming and laughing with great friends.
144/365 : Hesitated between this and a photo of my other friend and I at our impromptu movie night hahah went along with this. Taken when we dropped by a bar for a small bioinfo bday/end of semester get together.
145/365 : Spent the evening with these two crazy ladies that I hadn’t seen in a very long time :)
146/365 : Mother’s day~
147/365 : Drew for the first time in a while. Colored for the first time in forever. I missed it.
148/365 : Spent the morning/afternoon downloading Diablo III, the evening playing it and then switched it around and got ready to go see Kalle Mattson. I guess i’m not a real gamer after all!
149/365 : Bo bia. One vietnamese dish i love :)
150/365 : This was how long we stayed on Skype for tonight. 3h was spent playing Diablo in a team, one was just on our own.
151/365 : I’m becoming very non-original with this…another Diablo-related photo! I wanted to post my friend’s character and mine because we were both monks and dressed alike haha But i failed to take a screenshot. So here is my character :)
i’ve been really failing at posting these on time :/
132/365 : Studied with a friend in a coffee shop and took a photo of my coffee…but i think i accidentally deleted it :(
133/365 : Met my niece and my nephew’s pets : Jus and Doudouce! They were so cute<3
134/365 : This is what happens when I hang out with Jack all day. Mr “I-don’t-like-photos”. That and I didn’t think of taking any picture until I was having supper with him.
135/365 : Late-night cravings for some late-night studying.
136/365 : Got my order from 8123 :) One tshirt of The Maine, 2 This Century bracelets, Pioneer, To Love And Back && Exaltation :) Slowly rebuilding my CD collection. I need to find “This is Real Life” somehow though. I loved that book.
137/365 : Went to work for a meeting with my boss and studied with Jack afterwards at IRIC.
138/365 : Had some artichoke, yuuuum~ <3 I got hooked last summer when I had some at the Cheesecake Factory with my cousin.
139/365 : Had some late-night bubbletea with my good friend Amanda :) I get frustrated every time waiting for her but I adore her anyway. I’m starting to wonder if I should give her a meeting time an hour earlier than it actually is.
140/365 : It was nice out but I had to study. My friend and I decided to study outside on our campus all afternoon :))
141/365 : Last minute decision to go see Escape The Fate <3 I’m glad I did :) The opening bands were pretty good too, though more hardcore than what I usually listen to.
127/365: Woke up to these little flashcards I had made. They’re fun to look at but I realized they were not thaaaat necessary and that I could’ve gone to bed earlier the night before or put more effort into studying the rest. But…pretty notes make me happy ?
128/365: Tried Smoke’s Poutinerie! They have a lot of variety but I still think La Banquise’s fries and sauce are better.
129/365: Went to see the new Cirque du Soleil show, Amaluna, courtesy of my mom’s job! The show was amazing. We were front row on the side (my neck kind of hurt after) so we saw every little detail. The different acts were all very impressive, the music and the costumes were beautiful and the whole show was just spectacular. I loved it. I think this one was better than Totem.
130/365: Had a stressful morning/afternoon but spent the evening catching up with this great friend of mine and that was really fun :)
131/365: Tried plugging in my old recorder today and surprisingly, everything was still there, intact! My 3 years of CONFRONT interviews. It’s funny because I’m happy to have gotten those files back, but it’s not as if I go and listen to them. It’s just nice to know they’re there. haha
126/365: Meet Chouchou. This is my cousin’s dog and he helped me get better with my fear of dogs. I used to be ok, then at some point started to get scared of them and with his help, slowly got better. :) My aunt got him 10 years ago and I still remember him being a cute little puppy <3 He’s the nicest dog I’ve ever met.
125/365: basically my day in a nutshell. Studied all afternoon while listening to My Darkest Days. They’ve seriously grown on me. This is what I call post-interview syndrome lol
120/365: Got this late birthday present from my friend haha Common cold + petri of e.coli! Last summer, we looked at the giant microbes site and i jokingly said i wanted the blue one for my birthday. I had completely forgotten which one i wanted but he remembered! how sweet :) and there was a sale so he bought me e.coli because it’s very “biochem” haha
121/365: Finally got to see ARTTM <3 They were amazing. I also had the chance to interview them so it was just perfect!
122/365: Studying while listening to “On Your Side”. Still on my ARTTM cloud all day.
123/365: My friend wanted me to try Diablo III that was on beta for a few days. Shitty download made it impossible for me to try it out that night though.
124/365: Went to the Bell Center to review My Darkest Days. I stayed for Seether, Bush and a few songs from Nickelback too. It was interesting. I had a seat alone. Not my ideal concert but still, not as bad as I had expected. And MDD blew me away.
111/365: I’ve always found macaroons to be overrated. My aunt and cousin made me try these and they were good but I’m still not convinced. I don’t understand why they’ve gotten as popular as they have.
112/365: Tried a new sushi place in Chinatown and it was really good and fresh!
113/365: My goal was to put a panorama photo I took of my friends at supper. BUT the one I wanted to put didn’t save (my stupid mistake) and the second one failed because Jack decided to put his hand in half of my shots. -_- Sooooo instead, it’s a photo of our supper: chinese fooooood.
114/365: Spent the evening having a heart to heart with this great friend of mine that I don’t get to see very often :)
115/365: This is a shot I took with my iPod when I was trying to time the photo with the lights on stage during the FIght For Silence show. It ended up looking pretty neat, almost like a painting!
116/365: Biochem is no longer on strike so I figured I’d need to start studying again. And I took that opportunity to buy myself colored pencils too because I haven’t colored in a while.
117/365: Family supper at my sister’s house. I can’t believe this adorable kid is 3. I still remember changing his diapers and carrying him in my arms all the time when I used to babysit. This was taken the last day he was 2 years old. They grow up so fast.
118/365: Study, study, study!
119/365: Last-minute plans with these two. I haven’t laughed that much in a while. It felt really great :)
i haven’t been good at posting these on time but I do remember to take on every day!
102/365: Two of my friends surprised me with this for my birthday<3 on top of a cute little banner on the wall and a chocolate cake. And we spent the night pigging out and watching Game of Thrones. Oh they know me well~
103/365: My birthday party.
104/365: Game of Thrones season 2 started!! :D
105/365: My dad brought home one of my old laptops..broke my heart. We went through a lot together </3 At least they’ll try to recuperate the hard drive.
106/365: Paperwork…needed to redo my Canadian passport because we declared it as being lost…even though we found it a couple weeks later in what used to be my room.
107/365: Took apart a laptop for the first time ever to switch a hard drive :D Almost lost a screw in there but other than that, I’m pretty happy with myself.
108/365: Interviewed Luc Tellier at Cafe Kahwa and had a delicious raspberry hot chocolate. yummmm.
109/365: Didn’t take a photo during the day so it ended up being self-portrait day.
110/365: Was supposed to go out to Juliette & Chocolat with my aunt and my cousin but the two we passed by were paaaacked so we ended up driving halfway around Montreal for some Roberto’s gelato at midnight.
